Navigating BTech journey

                                         THE ROADMAP THAT YOU EXACTLY NEED  

The excitement of college is real which comes along with confusion (your blogger friend have your back on ).I already know it's going to be an interesting one but you need to take notes besides reading it out .So here is the the roadmap  ,i wish someone had handed me on day1 i would be more clear with what i want to do .Whether you are just starting out or already in the middle of the journey ,this might be the guide you are looking for that will definitely help you survive and thrive in your BTech journey.

FIRST YEAR : A COMPLETE NEW WORLD  

Don't fall into "i will do it tomorrow" trap because common we all know that tomorrow never comes .Now let's come on the topic ,i was really excited and nervous on my day-1 and initially confused with the paths of the college (thinking how big it is ).Moving on ...struggle to understand people and be friends with your kind of  people ,the struggle is real but when you get your vibe the journey becomes beautiful  .

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO : 

Just understand the basics of the subjects and explore what excites you the most( you need to maintain a decent percentage at least). You need to have a clear and basic understanding of programming from the start itself ,in order to develop interest in it, otherwise you will be lost. Just be consistent with whatever you  are doing ,and you will be there. It's your start so don't overthink especially about placements(because even final year don't stress about it ).Try participating and interacting with your seniors. 

SECOND YEAR : (THE FUN PHASE IS OVER)

Obviously complete college life is fun but (bitter truth is first year will fly in no time ),but you need to be serious from day1 (after all we need to manage google right).

WHAT TO FOCUS ON :

You need to dive deeper into technical subjects. You have explored now it's time to practice and start learning developing skills(web ,app etc.).Take part in hackathons .Start initiating the ideas for mini projects .

KEY LEARNING: It's okay to be confused and if you find something uninteresting stop doing it then and there(apart from studying right). Think about it take a u turn and start fresh .Use this phase to try different things and find what you really want to do.  

THIRD YEAR : (REALITY HITS)

Only one year ahead, that is not sounding great right (because at this point of time memories have been made and those relations which you never want to loose)...but life goes on my friend .

This can be a game changer phase as well either win it loose it(we are only meant to win ,let's do this).

ATTENTION!

Pick your field development and just dig as much deeper as you can (we need to reach to that box of gold right) .Create a solid LinkedIn profile, start building projects (apart from group ,your individual projects should be build to add up into your resume ).Do internships, you don't need to do a lot(actually you need to ...)okay you just need to be CONSISTENT(just highlight this word because it will take you ahead).Practicing 2 hours a day is much better than doing it like 10hours ,like once in a week. Just think about your destination ,for whom you want to do it all ,that's it(you don't to to watch any of Sandeep Maheshwari's to get that motivation which is already there).

FINAL YEAR : IT'S TIME TO PERFORM 

Just apply for placements and even internships. It's time to show what all you have learnt .PRACTISE aptitude and interviews before giving them. Just be yourself and don't lie say whatever you have done personally ,(the interview is also your kind only .....just a little experience adds on to his personality doesn't mean he will eat you).nothing is over yet we all are at learning stage that just goes on 

It's okay to fail, it's okay if you haven't got placed yet, it's okay if you are still confused START TODAY....and you will get there.

College is all about fun and new learnings each day, it's about living those moments to the best because this phase of life will never come back .Never compare your journey with others ,every individual is special if you really know your goal you can do it!(i trust you my friend ,can you not trust yourself ?)
