HER BELIEF ,MY ACHIEVEMENT !
Growing up ,my mother had always pushed me to participate in every kind of event possible .From taking part in fancy dress competition to have that courage to speak in front of like 100 people (or should i say the more the crowd ,the more confident i sound!).That zeal to participate in events without thinking about it's end result is all what is needed (because let me tell you boys and girls if you are just participating then you are a winner! at least that's what i have been hearing from my mother since childhood.)
BEYOND THE SYLLABUS ;MY COLLEGE LIFE IN EVENTS AND EXPERIENCES
College , for me , was never about textbooks ,it was beyond that, it was more about discovering myself. Classroom definitely gives you knowledge but it was events , fests , and competitions that taught me confidence (from which i am writing this blog) ,communication ,and creativity. I participated in all events in fests ,in group events like dance group (we got first position as well),in street play (there we won like second position), group events , individual events. I did it all and slowly the stack of my trophies just increased .
STEPPING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE:
As i already discussed i have felt like participating in events specially that holds communication part because i love to just express myself (not exaggerating but while going through my blog ,you also must have felt so) ,so initially that nervousness and hesitation would definitely be there but when i first spoke then since then slowly and gradually i got my zone and that zeal of participation has increased even more .
THE HACKATHONS:
Belonging from BTech background ,your journey is incomplete if you haven't tasted that hackathon dish .I still remember when my team participated in our first ever hackathon we were just dreaming about the prize that it holds ,it was like we were planning and strategizing about it ,but obviously we could not make it there, that doesn't stop us from participating (we lost but what we won was the ability to work in a team, to present ourselves ,to showcase our idea behind project effectively , to do critical thinking ,to go out of our box and what not ).
LET'S MAKE A ROBOT : TECHVYOM
You must be feeling how this is possible ,our initial thoughts were as same as yours ,but once we participated in it and decided to make a line following robot ,the complete process ,it was very smooth( you know i am kidding right ).We came to know about sensors ,about Arduino ,and much more ,collected what all it takes did the coding part (it was really confusing in the start ,later we somehow managed on everything ) and as usual at very end moment it stopped working .We were just on the verge of crying but WELCOME TO BTECH ,were this is just a small deal which you need to make .(with help of our friends ,we somehow managed to present our robot ,we did win)(if you know you know).
IF YOU LOOSE,YOU WIN!
I remember initially participating and receiving top positions was constant for like 3 events and then when i first participated in another event ,i already made up my mind that i will be receiving any of the top 3 positions and guess what i lost ,and coming back home i cried my heart out. On this my father gave me a lesson ....
IT IS NOT ABOUT WINNING OR LOOSING ,IT'S ABOUT PARTICIPATING !
AND YOU CAN NOT BE THE WINNER EVERYTIME ,
YOU ARE THE REASON FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S SMILE , WHAT A BIG ACHIEVMENT RIGHT.
That day and today i have never felt as if i have lost in any event, i think i really don't need to conclude but i would say whatever your heart says just listen and go for it.

Great Agarwal
